ICEC Programs
ICEC after school is an International Culture Exchange Center that aims at providing various programs to best help the kids learn through an authentic way. All of our teachers are professionals with either M.A or B.A in education backgrounds.
ICEC learning center has its own curricula in Science and Chinese language designed by experienced educators who also have deep knowledge about Common Core Standards, Next Generation Science Standards and etc. PBL (project-based and problem-based learning), collaborative leaning, technology-enhanced activities are all integrated in the ICEC Science lessons; the ICEC- Hand-Signal learning methods, role play, the ICEC-Story- Telling methods and daily diary are the main components of each ICEC Chinese lesson.
Learning is a lot of fun in our classrooms and kids love to be with us. Abacus is another main program offered at ICEC. Hundreds of kids passed the Abacus Tests organized by CAAA with the help of our teachers and they made huge improvements in their mental math and calculations. ICEC also has various enrichment programs for kids who love sports, art and music. Teachers here will identify kids’ talents and help them to flourish in the coming future.
